Returns, Refunds, and Replacements

Damaged or Faulty Items

  1. Immediate Discovery (Upon Delivery or Collection):
    • Right to Reject: If you discover any damage or fault at the time of delivery or collection, you may reject the product and receive a refund within 14 days of acceptance except for bespoke items (i.e., Products that we create to your specification or are personalised. Products purchased from the website or store that have more than one colour, size, and finishing option are considered bespoke products). Upon rejection, we’ll refund the goods’ purchase price within 30 days, deducting a 25% charge for refunds from the full price paid, to account for handling-related value reduction.
    • Right to Keep: If the product remains usable despite the damage or if you choose to keep it, we will arrange for repair or replacement. In cases where repair or replacement isn’t feasible, a full refund will be issued.
  2. Within 30 Days After Delivery:
    • Should any fault or damage become apparent within 30 days of delivery, please promptly contact us. We’ll discuss options for repair and replacement if repair is not viable. This policy does not apply to products that have been stored incorrectly, misused, altered, or exposed to outdoor or humid environments. It also does not cover normal wear and tear, scratches, or incidental damages.
    • The customer is responsible for notifying our company of any product damage or incorrect product received. Notifications should be sent in writing to info@odalife.co.uk. We kindly request that any such notifications be accompanied by relevant details and, if possible, supporting evidence such as photographs. Prompt communication helps us to swiftly address any issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  3. Home Accessories:
    • Returns will be processed after deducting the delivery fees. Once the products are confirmed to be received without any issues, your refund will be made within 14 days.
  4. Reporting Issues:
    • If there is any issue, the customer is responsible for reporting any damage or faults on the delivery day. Otherwise, the customer and company accept that the items were delivered without issues.

Cooling Off Period (Online Orders Only)

  • You retain the right to cancel your contract within 14 days of ordering the goods, except for bespoke items.

Cancellation and Order Changes

  • If you decide to cancel your order before dispatch, contact us at your convenience for a full refund. Customised products cannot be returned, and a 50% deduction will be applied if cancelled after the receiving date. Cancellation of dispatched orders must occur at the time of delivery or within 14 days thereafter by contacting us. Upon notification of your intent to return, we’ll arrange for our courier to collect the item. A refund (less return or collection costs) will be issued once the product is returned to us.

Non-Acceptance of Orders

  • We reserve the right to decline orders due to stock inadequacy, delivery limitations, pricing inaccuracies, or other uncontrollable factors. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

Stock Availability

  • Products listed on our website are typically in stock or available with specified lead times. If a product becomes unavailable, appropriate measures will be taken to address the situation.

Estimated Delivery Time

  • Our estimated delivery time is if the item is in stock the lead time is 1-4 weeks, if the item isn’t in stock the lead time is 8-12 weeks from the invoice date. Please note that this time frame may vary depending on circumstances beyond our control. Once the goods arrive at our warehouse, we will contact you to schedule delivery.

Delivery

  • It is essential to ensure that your room is emptied and ready for delivery before the scheduled date. Any missed deliveries may incur additional charges. Please inspect the delivered goods upon receipt and notify us of any damages or discrepancies immediately. Our delivery hours are from 09:00 to 19:00. Please be advised that we cannot provide an exact delivery time. Kindly note that delivery times may vary due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic conditions or unforeseen delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience. Upon delivery, our team will take photos to document the condition of the product. If you notice any damage to the product itself, please report it to us within 24 hours of delivery. You can report damage by contacting our customer service team by email at info@odalife.co.uk. This allows us to promptly investigate and resolve the issue for you.

Payment

  • Full payment is required at the time of purchase for online orders. We accept various payment methods, excluding foreign credit and debit cards. Interest-free payment options may be available, subject to third-party lender requirements.

Limited Warranty

  • The specified products come with a manufacturer’s warranty from the delivery date for faulty workmanship or materials. However, products purchased from display or stores may not be covered under warranty. Please inspect displayed items before purchase.
  • Please note that warranty service is valid only for the original delivery address. If you move after your furniture is delivered, your warranty will be expired.

What is Not Covered

  • Our limited warranty does not apply to products that have been stored incorrectly, misused, altered, or exposed to outdoor or humid environments. It also does not cover normal wear and tear, scratches, or incidental damages.

Catalogue and Online Sales

  • Please note that differences in colour and material may occur between the actual product and images displayed on our website due to optical illusions.

Handling Complaints and Feedback

  • We encourage you to promptly communicate any complaints or feedback. We’ll address them fairly, efficiently, and confidentially while upholding your statutory rights.

Contractual Obligations

  • To engage in a contract with us, provide accurate information and be of legal age (18 years or older).

Invalid Clauses

  • If any portion of these terms becomes unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Legal Jurisdiction

  • These terms and conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of English courts.
